Ben Clare is a successful and experienced commercial broker specialising in commercial and industrial sales across the North Auckland region, as well as land development as part of Bayleys’ National Development Land Sales team. In his role as General Manager for Bayleys Commercial in the North, Ben leads the commercial teams across Bayleys' Silverdale, Warkworth, Whangārei and Kerikeri offices.

Ben holds a mechanical engineering degree and spent more than a decade working in heavy industry and food processing sectors in New Zealand and around the world. This technical and operational background gives him a deep understanding of how businesses really work – from the factory floor to the boardroom – and how property decisions impact performance, productivity, and growth.

With this experience, Ben brings a data-driven, analytical mindset to every campaign. He is known for his ability to identify value, anticipate market movements, and structure transactions that align with his clients’ commercial objectives. His long-term relationships with investors, developers, business owners and landlords provide his clients with access to a powerful network and a steady flow of on- and off-market opportunities.
